What a beautiful way it was to ring in New Year in Peggy’s Point , like in fairy tales!
Seeing white soft snow outside we couldn’t believe that there is rainy and windy in Toronto. Just a couple hours of driving – and what is the difference!
The road itself was amazing: all trees were wrapped in white and everything looks like old and beautiful picture.
The cottage looked welcome, warm and beautiful even from outside, but when we walked in – WOW!
It was so much space and air there, chairs asking to seat in, and fireplace, and music , and TV – you could find anything you want to relax and enjoy.
Kitchen was shining and view from the windows was just fantastic!
We spent such a nice time there and will keep such a warm memories about this New Year Eve in Peggy’s Point!
Thanks, Carolyn!

Wow! What an amazing place of beauty, such peace, quiet to soak up all that the joy of the natural world has to offer. To stand at the frozen lake’s edge and take such a deep breath, eyes closed and feel the so often forgotten inner peace. This was our first time at this cabin and what a delight in every aspect. From the astounding beauty to the cozy comforts that have been provided here. We were blessed with an amazing clear day, sunshine and blue skies to the awesome heavy snow that only winter can claim her hold on. Our days were spent walking amongst the woods, cotton snow under foot and then meandering along the frozen lake’s edge. Our evenings in front of the hypnotizing glorious open fire, relaxing and soothing. What an amazing weekend! Thank you for providing such an amazing, well equipped and comfortable home for us. Batteries recharged and muscles relaxed, we will be sorry to leave.

We arrived to a clean and tidy cottage so that was such a delight. Chris and I decided that this was probably the nicest cottage we have rented in our 15 years. We have rented many because we like to explore various parts of Ontario. Chris is a real adventure type person and he just fell in love with your land. The point you have is amazingly beautiful! …We would all love to revisit one summer, fall or spring (perhaps all eventually!). Thank you for the extended hours. The kids had the nicest ice surface (very smooth and expansive) on Saturday so they skated that morning! Thank you again for sharing your paradise!

Peggy’s Point is such a beautiful place. We really needed some time away to reflect, connect, and rejuvenate. The tranquility, beauty, and comfort of this cottage did that. My wife and I were able to truly relax with our little boy, hike, enjoy the fire and feel truly blessed. For our first time here we were just excited to get away but look forward to more time here, It is a great place to relax before getting back to life.
Thank you. Grace and peace.

Christmas at Peggy’s Point for our family truly has been a Christmas we will never forget. We all live in different cities with busy hectic lives and don’t often get to spend quality time together. Peggy’s Point gave us the peace and the atmosphere to make so many happy memories that our family will cherish forever. During our stay we made a rink on the lake, played hockey, had a wonderful fire in the outdoor fire pit and were lucky enough to see some otters on the lake. As we sat by the fireplace looking out the window at the beauty of winter, we can all say everything was perfect. We hate to leave and go our separate ways, but will always remember this very special place and how truly blessed we were to find this little piece of Heaven to spend the holidays.

“Be still and know that I am God.” It is easy to be still when we are surrounded by magnificent beauty. The quiet waters, the tall trees, the snow hugging the ground and the branches – it speaks to my soul. This is truly a gift to be here. May many wonderful and treasured memories be made by everyone who comes to Peggy’s Point.

Such a relaxing vista and location. So quiet. Deer! We were able to unwind, hike some of the local trails and just read, play Scrabble and Sorry. Our daughter and grandchildren enjoyed the wolf exhibit, sculpture Park in Haliburton and a (short) canoe ride. Today it hailed and snowed lightly…signs of winter. Such a lovely place.

I have just returned from an amazing weekend getaway at your cottage.
I wanted to thank you for an incredible stay - it is so beautiful up there and the cottage is fantastic. We
had the best time ever, and it is now, when I am at home, that I
realize that I forgot to write in your book to tell you of the amazing
and perfect weekend. Thank you so very much.

As we near the end of our two weeks stay at Peggy’s Point, it is difficult to put into words just what an extraordinary experience we have had. When our dear Poppa was hospitalized in the
Spring, and we nearly lost him, we promised ourselves we would plan a family vacation - and that we did! This magical oasis has provided us with the perfect family retreat and an opportunity for Poppa to spend time with his two grandsons. We fished, we swam, we boated, we cooked, we puzzled, we read, we laughed and we sat. Thank you for sharing this little piece of heaven!

Peggy’s Point has been a wonderful experience for our family. The view of the pristine lake every day was a delight. During our stay we enjoyed canoeing, fishing (caught muskie and bass), hiking, campfire stories and much more. Ordering fresh baked goodies from Su Taylor is a must! It is sad to end our stay, but we will always remember the great time we had here. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place.

The leaves changed colour in time for us, the perfect reflections on the lake, and the canoe ride were among the highlights. The wonderful opportunities to chat and catch up by the fire at night, on the dock for lunch, and by the beach for the sunset have been great. What a wonderful piece of Canada! Thanks for the opportunity to share it.
