Our Story

The beautiful Haliburton Highlands captured our hearts when we purchased a fractional ownership share of a property called Williams Landing on Lake Kashagawigamog.  We loved it so much that when the developers built Marcus Beach, another fractional ownership development on the same lake, we bought a share there also.

Over the past 8 years we have come to Haliburton in both winter and summer and we love the people, the lakes, the scenery and the large number of activities that are available.

Two years ago, our mother/ mother-in-law died and left a small legacy.  This modest  legacy  provided the seed money for us to buy this beautiful property.  Her name was Peggy and we call it Peggy’s Point in her honour.  She loved the outdoors.  She enjoyed hiking and biking.  In her British vocabulary, she would have called those activities walking and cycling.  She always wanted to try skiing but felt it was too late in her life to attempt it.  She taught  her family to love nature and physical activity.

We are delighted to share Peggy’s Point  with renters and we hope that you will enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this place.
